Band Performance Recap
On October 21, the marching band took to Pike High School for their Semi-State performance. While the band is not advancing to State, they closed out the season with a memorable performance.
"One of the best aspects was the feeling the second we finished performing," explained sophomore Norman Wagner, who has been a member of marching band for two years. "The feeling of accomplishing something important is really nice."

Wagner added that his relationship with his bandmates has impacted the past season by allowing him to build better connections with people. "My relationship with most of my bandmates is really good because we get along and make jokes to help motivate each other to try our best," he said.
Wagner reflected on the season fondly. He added, "Something the performance has taught me is that trying your best and worrying less about messing up is what will help do it right."
