Chipotle

After a long day, there's only one thing that could make my day better: a Chipotle burrito bowl loaded with meat and vegetables. My go-to Chipotle order is very specific, so pay close attention. I order a chicken al pastor burrito bowl (with a tortilla on the side, obviously), white rice, pinto beans, corn salsa, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese, guacamole and queso. Try and name a better order than that.

To begin with, I just love the taste of the food there. The chicken al pastor is deliciously flavorful, with the perfect balance of sweet pineapple and spicy pepper. The guacamole, albeit pricey, is definitely some of the best guac I've had at a restaurant before. Of course, there are critiques that Chipotle's food is flavorless or bland, but it's a fast casual restaurant, not your grandma's authentic Mexican food.

There are also a lot of complaints about the price. My burrito bowl is around $14, and feeds me for two meals because I usually have leftovers. Sure, it might be overpriced, but it's on par with every other restaurant chain like it. Yes, the guacamole is almost $3 for a small portion, but it's clearly extra, and no one is forced to buy it. I think Chipotle is reasonably priced, especially because the ingredients are vibrant and fresh, and the portion size is also pretty good.

All in all, I am a Chipotle lover through and through. I'm probably going to order some right now.
