Choir Concert Recap

Last night, the Choir Department took to the stage for their annual Fall Concert, joined by the elementary and middle school choirs. The performance, titled "Dynamite," was a culmination of months of rehearsals and hard work.

Senior Madeline Yocum explained that the choirs have been preparing their music since the school year began. "My favorite part was singing the trio song. 'Falling Out of Love Can Be Fun,' from White Christmas," said Yocum. "We have been working very hard on this song and it was so fun to give the audience a sneak peek of what the musical will be like."

Yocum explained that while she initially thought she would never be joining show choir, she can't imagine her life without it. "I have met so many creative and fun people and made friendships I wouldn't trade the world for," she said. "Choir is an activity where everyone is included in everything and it is a team activity that forces us to get close with one another."
