Crumbl Reviews

Chocolate chip: The classic chocolate chip cookie is available every week and is a classic for a reason. Although it is not the best cookie in the box, it is a rich chocolate chip cookie with huge chocolate chips. It is really thick and soft, which relates to the classic chocolate chip cookie, but it has a Crumbl style to it. To get the best flavor out of the cookie, it needs to be warm and fresh from Crumbl so you can experience the fresh gooey chocolate from the cookie.

Pink Donut cookie: This cookie was enjoyable. Neither the flavor nor sweetness was strange nor overpowering. I could describe the flavor as sweet and a little fruity, sort of like a mock of strawberry. It was a bit weird and hard to decipher, but likable. 8/10.

Regarding the Maple Bacon cookie, I have two words: holy maple. I had to spit this cookie out with how sweet it was. I have almost nothing good to say about this cookie. Before biting into it, I knew what I was getting myself into. I was well aware this cookie would taste awful, and I was right. It was an immediate kick of maple, far too sweet to consume. To make it worse, along with the maple overload, there was a compliment of bacon bits throwing off the texture. After the cookie was consumed, you are left with an aftertaste like you just poured a gallon of syrup on a piece of bacon and swallowed it whole. Overall this is a 1/10, would never try again.

Maple Bacon: This cookie was not nearly as bad as I was expecting, as the flavor itself didn't sound very appetizing. Still, I found it to be very sweet and salty, the bacon bits so small they seemed close to salty sprinkles. The maple flavor was very nice and the cookie reminded me of a pancake soaked with syrup.

Mint Chocolate Chip: My favorite part about this cookie was the icing: it was light and creamy. The mint was subtle and not too strong, but still very tasteful. The actual cookie was thick, but it balanced well with the soft icing. I also liked how it was a chilled cookie, which made the whole idea of mint chocolate chip come together, 9/10

Brownie Batter: This one was my personal favorite. I loved the flavor and it wasn't too gooey nor too cakey – the perfect "brownie" texture. The chocolate was perfect, and I enjoyed it very much. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants to try Crumbl for the first time. The rating I would give this is 10/10.

Brownie Batter: Wow wow! This cookie was delicious! The brownie batter on the top was delightfully gooey and the chocolate inside the cookies wasn't too much chocolate, which tends to happen in a lot of chocolate goods. It was just the right amount of richness and sweetness and was a wonderfully melt-in-your-mouth experience. If anything, this cookie had very little structural support and would fall apart when you pick it up. I give this cookie a 9/10

Pink Sugar: This one was way too much for me. The almond frosting is not my thing; it feels too overpowering for the cookie. There is also an overwhelming amount of frosting, which makes the cookie feel completely lost. The actual base was delicious, but when paired with the pink icing, it is sickeningly sweet. For me, this cookie gets a 4/10.

Overall: I am a fan of Crumbl, and I've spent a questionable amount of money on these cookies over the past year or so. However, this was not the best line-up. There was not one, but two cookies that absolutely sucked (Maple Bacon and Pink Donut), and for only having six cookies, that's pretty bad. If this had been someone's first time ever trying Crumbl, I'm sure that they would be turned off from it. My least favorite was Maple Bacon, and the redeeming cookie of the week was Brownie Batter.
