DECA

11/18/2024

On Monday, November 18, the DECA club held a meeting to review upcoming community service opportunities with the club sponsor and business teacher, Megan Craft.

"This meeting was about the remaining community service opportunities available because you do need service hours to be able to compete," said current DECA club member, senior Tajweed Altower. The service hours completed for DECA allow members to compete in a district, regional, state, and national competition for business.

"Students should invest in this club because it allows you to be in touch with your community and the things happening around you," said Altower. "It also helps you gain real-world experience in entrepreneurship and problem-solving."

In the future, there will be more DECA meetings, whether it be for community service or for practice in upcoming competitions. With any questions regarding DECA, contact Mrs. Craft for additional information.
