Food Drive
It's that time of year again for the annual food drive benefiting St. Marks Food Pantry. The drive, which runs from December 6-13 is an opportunity for students and staff to give back to the community in a very easy way.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) contributes greatly to this cause. FCA sponsor Stacey Peters has been in a leadership role in the donating process for over two decades. "This is a large-scale effort which we hope will help others who might need it," said Peters.

FCA is not the only group taking a stand against hunger. "The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Key Club are combining forces for the 34th Annual PHS Food drive," said Peters. With combining efforts, it is easier to provide to the community and make a difference in Plainfield.
Not only is this an amazing opportunity for people who are in need, but for students and faculty members as well. "As a part of FCA, we want to give to others because God has given us His Son, Jesus Christ, as a gift to us," Peters explained. "We did nothing to deserve the amazing gift of Jesus, and hence, we want to give an all-too-small gift to others out of gratitude for what we have been given."
