Immunization Clinic

Are you interested in learning more about vaccines? How about getting help scheduling vaccine appointments? Then make sure to check out the immunization clinic on October 29th from 3p-6pm at Hendricks County.
"These clinics aim to increase vaccination rates by making immunizations accessible, affordable and available to people of all ages," said school nurse Glenda Coffelt.
Some events that will take place during the clinic are: staff teaching the benefits and potential side effects of vaccines; any questions regarding them alongside discussing vaccine schedules will be answered at the clinic events.
"By offering immunization services, these clinics safeguard the health of those vaccinated by also contributing to herd immunity, which protects vulnerable populations who cannot receive vaccines due to medical conditions," said Coffelt.
Any students under the age of eighteen are required to have a parent/guardian consent. Insurance card and copy of the immunization record must be provided. If you'd like to sign up for this event, click on the link below or scan the attached QR code.
