Make an Impression

From November 9th to the 30th, Plainfield High School will be participating in Make an Impression 2023, an annual Hendricks County high school competition. Put together by the Hendricks County Art Council, the event will be held at the Plainfield Guilford Township Library.

"They [the Art Council] do an excellent job with this event," said art teacher Heather Armstrong, "and make it very special for the participating students."

For the event, students were nominated by their respective art teachers to showcase their work -- and potentially win rewards such as ribbons and money.

"It's a great opportunity for students," said Armstrong. "Our school has done very well in the past."

Attendees should expect quality artwork, an organized exhibition and (as a tasty bonus) hors d'oeuvres, which is sure to satisfy both the artist and the viewer.

"The attendees should expect to be wowed," said Armstrong. "The quality of the work is always impressive."
