Tackle Childhood Cancer Game

On the week of Friday September 29, the football theme is Tackle Childhood Cancer. The football game is a way to raise money for the Tackle Childhood Cancer program through Riley Children's Hospital.
"I think that 'Tackle Childhood Cancer' is important to raise awareness about a prominent issue that we live with today," said junior Lilly Snider. The school will be selling shirts through Friday for $15, with all proceeds going to the program. "I think 'Tackle Childhood Cancer' impacts the school because we represent the Plainfield community," said Snider. "Because of this, it is important we shed light on modern-day issues like childhood cancer."
She added, "I believe that promoting the theme as 'Tackle Childhood Cancer,' rather than 'gold out' or another theme, would raise more awareness and focus the attention on the cause."
