Vibrant colors, flags spinning and smiling faces as the crowd watches the Plainfield High School Color Guard. Mesmerized by the sport, senior Sydney House decided to step into her older sister's shoes and join Color Guard, and now has wrapped up her high school career.

Down, but not out. Last weekend, Plainfield's Robotics Team - Red Pride Robotics - made it to the playoffs at the First Indiana Robotics Columbus District Event, but were unfortunately eliminated in the lower bracket of the tournament. However, this is only a minor setback for the team, as they have another competition this weekend.

On Saturday, March 16, the murky blue Chicago River was transformed into an emerald green spectacle within minutes. A tradition that dates back to 1962, the dazzling green water brought throngs of people to the city to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Sunday.

On April 24, an exciting Students vs Staff basketball game will be held at 6 p.m. in the main gym. "Any interested senior who has not played on the PHS basketball team can sign up to compete against their teachers in a 5 v 5 basketball game," said Key Club sponsor Caleb Moster.

On Saturday, March 9, PHS showchoirs Femmes Fatales, Belles et Beaux and Nouvelles attended their last preliminary competition of the season at Lawrence Central High School. The Femmes Fatales were the grand champions of the evening, winning best visuals and tying for best vocals.

Friday night found senior Teagen Diallo on the dance floor, sharing his moves with the other students who attended the Winter Homecoming Dance.
