Adrenaline fueled them to jump in, but now joy and glee overwhelm them...

To all the literature lovers out there, National Reading Month is coming up this March. For those who already enjoy reading, this could serve as the perfect month to add to their personal number of books read. As for those who don't find any pleasure in reading at the moment, this month could be the time to find a book they do like....

ASL Club

On February 23, a new club came together in celebration of a culture and language often overlooked in the United States: The ASL Club.

After tough competition at Regionals and State, the We The People class is headed to Nationals in Washington D.C. From April 13-15, teams from almost every state will collectively attend and compete against each other.

On February 19, 2024, all students and staff observed a three day weekend due to Presidents Day, a federal holiday first celebrated unofficially in 1879 by then-president Rutherford B. Hayes. Although many view it as another day to get off of work, the day holds much more sentimental and historical significance than many would have thought.

Track Season

Track season has officially started, with the team's first practice on February 12. For junior Andrew Weaver, this is his third year on the team, and he explained that he is looking forward to competing again this spring.

Winter Dance

The annual Winter Dance has been rescheduled for Friday, March 8, due to its overlapping with the girls Semi-State basketball competition. Tickets for the dance are $10 and will be sold during lunch on Tuesday, March 5; Thursday, March 7; and Friday, March 8.

On Friday, February 12, the Police Department will be hosting a Coffee With a Cop event from 7:20 to 8:00 a.m. in the cafeteria.
